Jean-Maurice BONNEAU

Born on May 15, 1959 in Vendée, Jean-Maurice Bonneau started his career as a groom, before he became a young-horse-rider and a high-level rider from 1987 till 1996. From then on, he specialised as a trainer in France and abroad.

As the official trainer-selector for the French CSO team from 2000 till 2006, his most striking victories were:

  • In  the 2002 world championship, the Gold medal by team and the Silver medal, individual, the
  • In 2003 European championship, the Silver medal  by team,
  • Victories in the 2003 and 2004 Samsung Super League
  • Victory in the 2004 World Cup .

In 2007  Jean-Maurice Bonneau created the JM Bonneau Conseil company with Aude Bonneau, in which he developed the activities connected to his experience, his knowledge of high-level sport, his skills as a trainer, coach, manager and organizer.

As a private coach, he has worked with Simon Delestre, Luciana Diniz, José Larocca, Philippe Leoni, Patrice Delaveau, Kevin Staut, Philippe Rozier, ...

As the Brazilian team leader from 2011 to 2015, he won the Calgary Nations Cup.

As Kevin Staut's and Philippe Rozier's private coach, he won the team gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
